FAQs
Q: Where can I find these stations online?
A: Each of the stations are run independently and have their own online presence. There are several online directories where you can find the stations featured in the app.
Q: Why does the music occasionally skip?
A: When songs are skipping, it is often because 1) that station's server has recently been reset or 2) the internet isn't filling the audio buffer fast enough. Usually these issues are resolved with faster internet, changing to a new station, or they resolve on their own after the server resets.
Q: Why are some stations blank at times?
A: Some of these stations are controlled by real DJs and if they aren't playing anything at the time or their site is down no music will play. Fortunately we have a variety of channels so you will always have a lot to choose from.

Jazz Radio+ is the A++++
Very nice jazz app! I’m impressed with how many stations actually work and work well! Nice selection of different jazz genres. The perpetual ads at the bottom of the app don’t bother me at all since I’m listening and not watching :). I have only one enhancement request. It would be great if you could add an option for a timer. Hopefully, I can use the device timer but it would be better to have it built into the app like audiobook apps and other music streaming apps. Other than that, great job keeping up with the station updates!
Mostly Pop “Jazz” with too many Commercials?
I’m not into what’s called “Smooth Jazz”, because despite the considerable talents of some of the practitioners, as a genre it’s more pop or funk music than jazz. Remember the axiom: It don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing!
I spent an hour or so after downloading the app categorizing the channels, and what I found was that out of the 56, 22 were pop music with jazz-type improvisation usually, 18 were Jazz, 9 were miscellaneous, 5 were Latin, while one was Classical and the last Hawaiian. The commercials were way too frequent so I almost dumped it right there and gave two stars.
I returned to add another star after listening to two or three of the dedicated jazz stations for a couple of hours, especially Jazz Groove. No ads at all and only one pop/funk tune, by Stanley Clarke, so since he’s the real deal I gave him a pass. 😉
After my second session I returned to make it four stars and that’s my usual max. To get five not only must an app do what it says but must be good in bed and clean my somewhat skanky bathroom. Thanks to this great dev I may have to soon add that last one anyway.

Let me tell you ALL Something there is Nooooo Other Platform better than Jazz Radio Hands Down if you are even raising your hands ;-) Name something . I’ll Wait !! Thought so. Anyways, Naw I am just messing around ;-) But I am Very Serious at the same time. Nothing Else out there quite like this. Please take care of your ears and let them Relax with this App. Trust me your Spirit.. Mind…Body and Soul will Thank You! Download this Already! It’s been quite a few Years for myself now..
