Virtually useless

It does show accurate info like temp, water and black tank levels. But as for controlling anything it’s useless. I pretty much can turn on lights if I’m lucky and need to be in the camper which is pointless. I have it hooked via the internet not just Bluetooth so it’s supposed to control everything remotely. Also I’m missing buttons that where supposed to be installed at the bottom of the unit. All I have is the screen. That’s not the apps fault though I’m working with dealer to remedy this

BMPro is dodo

We bought a Jayco 28.5 rsts fifth wheel in December of 22, as of June 25 of 23 we still have not been able to stay one night in it due to glitches with the Jay command panel disabling all the motors so the slides and awning, and leveling system don’t function!!!! Had it back to the dealer four times now and it works there briefly but by the time we get it home it is not working again! Can’t get in the fridge or cabinets and drawers so can’t stay in it! What a stupid system to put in an Rv that’s supposed to able to go anywhere and provide comfortable living conditions without having to have an internet connection and someone to download another update to get the slides to work! What was wrong with the super reliable analog switches that worked so well for decades? Or why not have them available in a separate panel in case the fancy electronics fail? Guess they never heard the mantra : K.I.S.S, keep it simple stupid!! In any case, don’t waste your time and money on a Jayco as they are now made by Thor, not like before when the Amish were the ones who made them! Corporate dweebs have thoroughly screwed up the system and the brand is being damaged by the over engineered direction they are going!! What a shame!

Great idea but poor execution

I’ve had my Jayco for a little over 1 year and while it is great sometimes, other times it is laughable. For example, it is great when you can turn the air on 30 minutes before you arrive at your camper or need to turn lights on in the dark before you get there. It is terrible when you’re sitting right outside and can’t get the awning to open or close without moving around like you’re trying to “find a signal” with your phone. The cloud connection has worked pretty well during the time I’ve had it until about a week ago when I could no longer connect to it. The camper has internet access, I’ve logged out and back in on both the panel and my app… it never shows the cloud icon now. One of the few benefits is now no longer available. This could be really nice Jayco, just put a little more polish into it. The app experience is not “production ready” at all.
