I love this! I definitely recommend it.
But it would be so much better if each year on one of the days instead if a sweet video
There is like a pet store where you can go pick you pet and you get to name it. That would been fun. But other wise it’s awesome me and my siblings love it. I cute, the videos are sweet,I love to design the room house thingiy, and I especially love the pets. There cute and naming the each year is fun.(this year the cat was named Ron and the dog was named harminy. From Harry Potter) I love looking for the little things and opening the presents and ornaments each day.

I have paid for a JL membership for nearly a decade and always enjoyed the cards, the charming, very British, animations, the quality, and especially the Advent calendars, which I have given as gifts as well as enjoyed myself. Until this year. Since AG acquired the company, the quality of the animations has really suffered. This year’s new Thanksgiving card was not the same animation quality as the classic offerings. Likewise, the new Advent calendar (Paris) is disappointing, with a pay wall and additional tech glitches at rollout, which is a bother when the calendar is a gift. As others have experienced, the games are deeply dissatisfying for the unclear instructions, the lack of functionality on touch devices, and in the case of the card games, a near impossibility of playing a successful hand. I have cancelled my auto renewal membership and will bid farewell to JL in April. In the mean time, I will limit my interaction with the Paris calendar, spend time helping my unfortunate gift recipients work through all the tech snafus they experience, and spend more time outside with my own dogs, cat, and local wildlife. Perhaps I have a poor quality JL product to thank for getting me off the couch and out into REAL winter more often this year. Save your money and get a paper Advent calendar instead.

I have written to you for the last three years, asking you to fix the card games so that they are not so impossible to win. Almost every time both the solitaire and the spider solitaire have at least half of the same card, i.e., five nines, five kings, etc.. You can’t win this way and it is just frustrating and annoying. And now you have added a mah-jongg game, which is almost impossible to tell which level the tiles are on. You need to make them a little more distinguishable. Don’t you have anyone who tests these games? While the calendar is a great idea and I enjoy it. I keep it so that I can continue to play the games so I need them to be fun and not frustrating! I know we’re only in today two of this calendar but the “hidden “ Santas were pretty easy to find- hopefully the rest will be a little more challenging .
