Description

Try new original approach to the minesweeper games genre!

The Infinite Minesweeper provides endless board filled with mines to uncover. As you can't solve the whole board*, its divided into 8x8 sectors. Solve a sector to score points. Do not fear revealing a mine! The sector will just lock, allowing you to unlock it by solving all adjacent sectors, watching an Ad or unlocking it using gems, which can be found on almost every sector. The further you explore the more difficult the sectors will appear. You can compete with other players on the leaderboards with daily, monthly or all time results.

Game contains three modes:- endless: the main one
- hardcore: for the steel nerved players where one mistakes results with losing whole progress on the board
- timed: solve as much sectors you can before time ends

The endless game is truly relaxing and stressless experience. Just play, expand, and even when mistaken just wave it, you can just leave the locked sector and go on, the board is infinite!

Game contains shop with gem packs available for purchase. There is a banner ad that can by turned off by any gem purchase. Game contains video ads that can be watched to unlock sectors. You can customise the game looks with skins. There are two free skins available at the beginning - light and dark theme.

* at least not in your lifetime! The board is limited only by the technical limitations of the programming language used.

Amazing game, but there are a few suggestions that I have!

First of all, I just got this game, and I like it! I don’t know how to play Minesweeper, but I like the infinite board and the fact that the game can be used to relax. I love the sleek, modern design as well, and I think I’m starting to learn how to play Minesweeper from this game. Though, I do have a few suggestions. My first one is some kind of cloud sync. Personally, I’m thinking about getting a new phone, so losing all my progress when changing to a new iPhone would not be good. Introducing an account system or cloud sync would be nice, so that we can keep our progress if our phone is lost or swapped out. (Because sometimes that happens.) Also, the “solve all neighbors to unlock a locked sector” mechanic is a very great idea, but I’ve had many, many times where I lock two adjacent sectors, which will then both never be unlocked without watching an ad or spending gems. It’s not a problem to watch an ad, but it kinda defeats the point, since that’s a very common problem, because any given sector will always be adjacent to at least one other. Those are really my only things - everything else is great! I’m excited to learn Minesweeper and see this game develop!

Lovely! One suggestion

I’ve been really enjoying this game! I even bought the removal of ads since I know this is a game I’ll enjoy playing daily!

My only request is to have an option to turn off the gems shaking or at least reduce the frequency of shakes as it is extremely distracting. I always play games like these to relax, but every time the gem shakes my eyes automatically lock onto the movement even if I try to keep the gem slightly off screen.

Other than my suggestion, I’m really enjoying this and will definitely recommend it!

I will add an option to remove animations in the setting menu. thank you!

Almost a good game

Pro: The concept is incredible. My issue with original minesweeper is that it’s too small. I can’t believe I haven’t seen this done before. But the concept is about where the good things end.

Con: The color scheme is intentionally misleading to confuse people who are used to the original scheme. The color of the tiles are backwards, making you think clicked tiles are unclicked and vise-versa.

Con: Additionally, it’s just another game with forced ads that interrupt gameplay. If I’m focusing and suddenly an ad breaks focus, it messes with my train of thought and speed.

P/S mostly for developer: I understand that these games need revenue, but it isn’t like this game cost millions to make, you don’t need that kind of revenue. Plenty of mobile games make a lot of money with no ads, especially no forced ads. However, I think we can all deal with banner ads at the bottom. You should have enough revenue just off the videos to clear exploded sectors and gem sales. I’m not an expert on the mobile game business, but I wouldn’t be surprised if you made more money getting rid of forced ads. Many players immediately uninstall when they set a forced ad.

In conclusion, release free color schemes that are not misleading, and remove forced ads. I get you need to make money, but doing it by violating people is not the way to do it

Developer Response ,

hi,
thank you for lot of feedback.
1 I never thought the colors would be the issue, Its my artistic decision to make it the way it is. You can check other themes in game menu. And I will try to add more skins that will have colors reversed.
2 I'm doing this game solo, in my free time. So, yea, cost wisely its not so expensive. But the cost of the game is negligible comparing to cost of the advertisement that is needed to reach to the players. I compete with oversaturated market with big companies. And thats why the "ad breaks" are necessary. At least until the ad campaign is running. Without them I would be at loss.
Banner makes irrelevant amount of revenue compared to those ads.
I'm not proud of "ad break" ads, but so far I need them. And because of the infinite nature of the game, and no gameplay-menu-level loop, there is no good placement to show forced ads.

Sincerely
Kuba
