Holafly has horrible wait times (What’s App) for support.

My initial review was good but since then things have gone to pooor): Doing as Asia trip and bought unlimited Japan eSIM plus Asia region unlimited eSIM and just did a top off. Everytime I had any questions I reached out for help via the app and was immediately take care of (even their AI help assistant asks the right questions, no issues). Response are timely, complete with I formation and they want to co firm you were successful. Service in Japan, Taiwan and Thailand has been 98% 5G and LTE right now as I am in the middle of Thailand - I am pleased). Final feedback: I have needed help two more times and have waited in excess of 30 minutes to get someone. This can’t be a fluke, their agents must be swamped trying
To help others. I can not in good conscious use Holafly again.

Crying in Chicago T1

On a flight from Barcelona to Chicago (after my boyfriend dumped me just hours before), I realized I forgot my normal US SIM I use for my USA visits. That’s when I saw an advertisement for holafly on the airline tv. Perfect, I thought. Well, it wasn’t perfect. Once I arrived, I sat there for an hour trying different ways to activate it with airport WiFi. (Has your team tested this with airport WiFi, by the way?) nothing worked!! The codes didn’t work and I kept hitting error walls. Nobody from holafly answered my WhatsApp messages either. Also note, I’m a tech savvy person who is capable of installing an e-sim. I really needed the data to get myself on the train and downtown to meet my friend for dinner (you can imagine how important meeting a friend was because of the aforementioned personal issue). I ended up crying in the airport from pure frustration (feeling rejected and not sleeping surely didn’t help this situation). Thankfully my friend is a Saint and insisted on driving the two hours required to pick me up, and drive back downtown. Perhaps your team could look into this issue and improve the holafly installation experience? I’m happy to help provide any feedback.

App Glitch or was I Scammed?

First time I used Holafly for a trip on Amsterdam and Paris during Nov of 2023, it worked just fine on the iPhone 12 Pro max (unlocked). With the unlimited data plan, Google maps and social media ran smoothly. Sometimes better than our hotel in France. Now with another Europe trip planned for Italy, but with 2 layovers in Germany and wasn’t sure if there is any quality difference for the region vs specific country eSIM. Went with the chat agents on their app and they provided a link for a regional eSIM for the exact amount of days we needed (12 days instead of the standard 10 or 15 days). However, on the Holafly app it shows we only have 7 days for our eSIMs. Got back with the chat agents and one confirmed it is for 12 days and reassured me it’s just a glitch. My email order shows 12, but I will update my review based on what happens.
