what happened
i remember when this app was literally a web browser to go to the hltv website. they really have improved from there. I really do like the design and the info of this app, however the latest update removed the feature to see scores for maps, which as a counter strike fan is kinda important. while the app is a huge improvement on what it was I think the latest update took away one of the most important features and i wish they will bring it back.

2.0 app a rollback in functionality
I like the streamlined look, but there's a ton that is missing from the websites's functionality, mainly the forums and commenting on matches. Getting rid of these site features makes the app more accessible to a wider audience by hiding the trolling and toxic users, but I'd hope there could be an alternative for some form of a cleaner social element for mobile users.
The live and stats tabs being separate and zoomed out on each match page makes it hard to actually tell what is happening mid round when watching the livebot. Scrolling up and down and between tabs to even compare the teams' current buys, economy, looks in current round, etcetera is very clunky. If only this aspect was improved it would be a 5 star app. The news page looks nice and formats well.
Downgraded
This app use to have all the features of the HLTV website and more. It was the perfect dedicated CSGO app to keep up with all the latest news and scores. When they updated to the new look, it became significantly more user friendly and smooth, but at the cost of countless features. You no longer can get details about the matches, click into the teams details pages, or even see any pregame stats or odds. They seem to have removed the features that made this app leaps and bounds ahead of the competitors. It’s sad to see the state of the app currently.
All in all, the “upgrade” to the app was In My opinion, a downgrade. Until they fix the features of the app, I will be using another platform. whether that’s another app or their website version I don’t know.
