Scan Button Gone

Worked well for me in the past on my RDX2 Pro. It still connects to the radio and all the other functions are working except it does not give the ability to scan the barcode to charge. Very disappointing.
Update: I spoke to Hitec support and they told me scan to go has been removed. I hope they bring it back because I used that feature a lot.

Dangerous

When using with my RDX4 it causes the charger to over discharge, or overcharge my lihv batteries. It was set to stop at 4.35 per cell and I caught it at 4.40+. When using the charger without the Bluetooth app, it seems to work properly. Using with the app for some reason makes the charger do weird things. If you use the app at all, when charging is done, you can’t use the charger buttons on the actual charger to start another charge. You either have to use the app and hope it doesn’t glitch the charger further during another charge, or power cycle it. Yes, charger has the latest firmware.

Update to previous post

“It use to be a great device and app, when it worked! Now you just get it asking for a PASSWORD which was never requested or set-up in the past.”

UPDATE: Try this, it worked for me.
1) Turn on your RDX2 PRO.
2) Open the app and connect to the charger. It will request a password and the keyboard for entering one blocks you from being able to get into Settings in the app.
3) Now, turn off the charger while leaving the app open. The keyboard will disappear allowing you to go to Settings. Tap on Change Password. Now enter a 4 digit number PIN. Confirm that again and hit OK.
4) Close the app.
5) Turn on your charger
6) Open the app and connect to the charger.
7) Now when it asks for a password enter the 4 digit PIN. The app should fully open allowing you to use it’s full features.
I hope this works for you.
It shouldn’t be this difficult, it use to work seamlessly.
