Wish there were updates
As I am writing this in late 2017, there have been no notable deaths or events, according to this site, since 2011. It appears that the person or persons who wrote this historical information did a fantastic job about 6 or 7 years ago, but has not done anything since. I do like how the site links to Wikipedia where I can find updated information..
Love HISTORY....
I checked out four history apps, and this one by far is the best. The changing backgrounds do hamper my old eyes from reading with ease. I think a simple fix 'might' be enabling the reader to change the size of the font. Thank you....
Backgrounds are annoying
Agree with others that the changing backgrounds is annoying as hell. Also if you click on an item, the fb and twitter option pops up but there seems to be no interface to actually post anything. Not good
