Description
Here is the quickest way to see when the next train will be here. Open up the app and instantly see upcoming arrivals for the nearest stations to you — no fumbling around tapping small buttons or trying to find the station on a map. Here also supports widgets and the Apple Watch, giving you even quicker access to train information.
A press on one of the platforms shows you additional upcoming arrivals and last-stop details for each train. And, the arrivals at large stations that serve many lines are intelligently organized by heading, instead of being bucketed into just two categories.
Features:
- Quick-to-access subway train information for the stations closest to you
- Beautiful home screen widgets allow you to see arrivals info for the closest station or a pinned station of your choosing
- Apple Watch and iPad support gives you the information you need on all your devices
New York City and Washington D.C. are the only regions currently supported by Here.

Ratings and Reviews
Amazingly Useful. One change would make it perfect
The app identifies the closest subway stations and tells you the next arrivals for trains in each direction. Genius! You can also add it as a Home Screen Widget and either show the arrivals for the nearest station or a pinned station. The Locked Screen Widget shows the arrivals for the nearest station.
My only wish would be to be able to pin a few stations and then have the Locked Screen Widget show the nearest station out of those pre-selected options. For example, there are 5 subway stations near my home, but the station I use to commute is not the nearest one. The Widget does show me my commuting station once I walk in that direction. But it would be nice to have a way to tell the App to ignore the other stations and show me the one I need when I am home. And the one I use to get back when I am near work, etc.
So simple yet useful.
I never write reviews, but couldn’t help and show my support for this little unknown app. It’s so useful and convenient, instead of running up or down the platform to find the times or opening an app and having to input the destination to check the times.
Sometimes it struggles to update especially if checked between one station after the other in the train, but beyond that STILL 5 stars.
What I’ve been looking for
This app gives information that the official MTA app has but does it in a streamlined way. I can open my phone, and open an app and instantly see the station I’m near and walking to and view arrival times. While the info is available on the official MTA app this app is able to deliver that information way quicker which is important for me when determining if I’m going to book it to try and catch a train or not.
The only improvement would be to work on separation of lines at some stations - Court square is three different stations, G, E/M, 7 but the E/M, and 7 are all grouped together because their destinations are all Manhattan and queens. I would prefer to have the 7 separated out.
Happy to have this to use alongside MyMTA
