The Happiest Baby App is the mobile companion to your Happiest Baby devices. This includes SNOO Smart Sleeper—a safer and more effective baby bed—and SNOObie Smart Soother—the sound machine, nightlight, and sleep trainer.
Created by Dr. Harvey Karp, renowned pediatrician and sleep expert, SNOO intelligently responds to your baby’s needs and, within just days, helps the whole family get more sleep. It calms crying and boosts sleep with the rhythmic sound and motion that babies find so soothing in the womb.
SNOObie is an all-in-one white noise machine and nightlight system! It helps settle your sweetie, keep scaries at bay, teach calming breathing, and create easy-peasy sleep routines. This portable bedtime buddy features customizable nightlight colors and special soothing sounds.

SNOO Log: Tracks your baby's sleep every day...automatically.
Alerts: Lets you know if your baby needs more than SNOO's soothing (due to hunger or discomfort).
Remote Control: You can quickly respond to your baby's needs by adjusting SNOO’s levels up and down.
Customize: Pick the best motion and white noise settings for your baby.
Adapt: Lets you boost the level of rhythmic sensation—like riding in a car all night (reduces sleep disruptions from stuffy noses, growth spurts, sleep regressions, teething, etc.)

SNOObie Features:
Connect and have fun with your SNOObie routines! Choose your favorite SNOObie light + sound cues to create up to 4 routines at a time that fit your family. To create a routine, pick your preferred light color, sound, time, and day(s) of the week. Once you save the routine, set it by tapping your device to SNOObie, and your routine will be ready to play when the scheduled day and time arrives.

Disappointing though it does the job
Beyond the disappointing decision to turn to subscriptions, the app itself lacks detail, testing, and offers no customer support for what is now a paid product.
For instance, attention to detail: realistically most parents will be entering log data one handed while juggling a baby. Yet logging anything requires stretching across the screen. Make it easy to use one handed! It would be great to double tap the log to zoom in, edit without clicking into five things, and more. Testing: I frequently run into confusing sleep logging with overlapping sessions and I really don’t think they adequately tested this user flow. Customer support: data didn’t load for a full day. Another time the app update removes the diaper button temporaruly. I cannot submit a customer ticket without five pieces of product data, yet I am a paying customer.
Three stars because the log is pretty straightforward and does the job. The Snoo control works as expected too. This app saves us from having to use an additional app to log data. I’m grateful I don’t need to tinker with Snoo settings because I fear I would find it confusing too.

App is necessary evil
We are on our second time Snoo and the app user experience has only declined over the past 4 years since our first. We have bought both Snoos used for half price and resold after - I recommend this as the Snoo is far overpriced for how little customization is offered by this app. There is no way to use the Snoo effectively without this app which continues to decline. The physical product is great but this app alone makes the asking price too high.
The most recent app update removed the ability to double tap to zoom into sleep details. Instead they added the ability to track feeds and diapers which is unintuitive and unnecessary. Many better apps like Huckleberry track those things much better, I just need the Snoo to tell me about time in bassinet and levels etc. which is almost impossible to find now. The app has to be manually opened each time to lock the Snoo from automatically turning up levels which should be available as an option but is not. Instead they send me notifications recommending I allow the Snoo to increase speed!! I want to be in charge of how I use the Snoo but it is very difficult to customize. In 4 years the app has added no improvements or increased customization and only become more convoluted and frequently disconnects from the Snoo itself. I wish the app could be as sleek as the physical product and provide me with easy customization of sound levels and motion limits if I want them.

To view all sleep data, tap Tracker > Sleeping > All Data tab, or you can tap Zoom on the Log screen. You can quickly access the familiar Sleep Log by tapping Daily in the SNOO Dashboard. AVOID THIS COMPANY'S PRODUCTS/REMOVE THIS APP FROM APPLE STORE
RESPONSE TO DEVELOPERS: The developers have replied to this review to claim that they offer "personalized," "thorough" support. That is a lie. They have an AI. It couldn't help me. If you ask it how to speak to a human representative it tells you that they don't offer that. Instead you can request an eventual email. It will be a form-generated email, and it will ask you to answer a lot of questions, many of them unrelated. Each reply took at least 25 hours. Imagine dealing with this with a newborn! This company is garbage, but if the developers are going to reply to angry reviews with LIES it should honestly just be taken off this site. Disgraceful. Delist them Apple.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Many people have noted that this company now charges an extra fee to access features, which isn't something people expect from a piece of furniture. I'd also like to add that this company doesn't have any manned customer service. If anything goes wrong with your product (which is likely since they have made it needlessly complex in order to charge their fee), you will spend WEEKS emailing back and forth with them, while they ask you endless questions about your router, your phone, and the layout of your home. It's the worst I've ever seen. You wouldn't believe me if I told you what I just went through with their "customer care." AVOID!
