I’ve been using Handoff for over five months now, and I can’t say enough good things about it. This app has completely transformed the way I bid and estimate jobs, helping me avoid underbidding and ensuring I maximize my profits.

Incredibly cool to have found this. Deploying it at our company now to make our estimates drop from weeks out to days or hours out. This consistently is within 10-20% (over) of our estimates with Xactimate and is an unbelievable asset. If the slightly higher numbers scare them off then it wouldn’t have worked with change orders anyways. It will really help us get better contract wind and better revenue. Way to go!! I just wish they had more choice in plans since we don’t need a CRM but generating proposals would be nice.

I was working on a spreadsheet to try an pull together a rehab project cost estimation. I spent a few hours researching and filling in columns with internet search data. When I decided to actually check my work I asked around for second opinions a I was told this app would do it better faster and more accurate. I gave it a go and am super impressed how it performs. This is a must have tool in your box to cut estimating hours and project scoping down to minutes… great app

This is an easy to use program and does save me time and relief of second guessing myself on quotes. You just tell it what to add in my own words and breaks it down in estimate form. My complaint is the costs. I’ve been using the basic $50 per month version and for that cost it should at least allow a customers name on the estimate! You can pay $150 to include that with couple other features like integrate with QuickBooks but my QuickBooks already has those features plus WAY more business features for $90 per month.

I’ve been using Handoff for several months and I have to say this might be the best app I have on my phone. It’s like an AI assistant that’s optimized for helping you with running a construction business. The estimates are extremely accurate, I love connections to suppliers, and overall love how easy it is to run my projects. Support is also stellar. Highly recommend for any contractors out there.

App has a lot of potential. It can do a lot, but I find there are several bugs that need to be addressed before this can be used on a regular basis. Also, communication with the AI is OK, but it makes mistakes and does not follow instructions at times. I find manual changes overwritten constantly and no amount of instructions can change that. It will randomly repopulate the estimate with things I’ve had it remove previously as well.

Maybe in the future. For now, I feel this needs refining.

Let me start off by saying, I love this app, it has helped my company to get good and accurate estimates and is able to change your percentage and things of that nature. Besides that it would be nice to be able to incorporate pictures of the job. at hand, it just helps with the customer in creating an accurate estimate. I use another app that incorporates it and then it analyzes the picture and then create an estimate off of that that would be nice.

I’m still in the first free 7 day trial and have used it several times. It is super fast and when checked against my own estimate for a job, it’s extremely accurate on price. I’ve adjusted the estimates some in the labor section but supplies are on point. I wish it was a free service or had a free estimate only option and pay for the other services if I wanted to.

Before Handoff, I’d be glued to my computer screen every evening making estimates and proposals for the potential clients I visited that day. Now I can finally go to my kid’s baseball games and relax with my wife.
