Upgrade your HAM license from Technician to General! With the elimination of the Morse Code requirement, there is no reason not to upgrade your license to gain additional privileges!
Amateur Radio License exams are composed of questions from a pool. Use this application prior to taking your exam to review and practice all possible questions. Then, test your knowledge with practice exams!
After completing your first practice exam, the question pool screen will display your proficiency in each question group for all practice exams you have completed.
You may choose to receive immediate feedback on right and wrong answers when taking a practice test. On practice tests, questions in a group will not be repeated until all of them have been used.
Some questions require you to review associated Figures. These figures may be zoomed and panned on iPhone/iPod touch.
FCC rule text is viewable within the application. All sections can be browsed from the main screen. Additionally, for questions where rule sections have been identified, the rule text can be viewed on the question screen when studying the question pool or reviewing test results.
An in-progress practice test can be resumed if you exit the test or the application.
Current General question pool is valid through June 30, 2027.
Versions of this application for both the Technician and Extra license classes are also available.

Perfect Score on Exam
I read the book first, then went back and highlighted the important info. I used this app as a flash card sort of technique. If I I got a question wrong, I would stay in that section till I got them all correct. Later on, at lunch and at night I would go back to the sections that gave me a hard time. In the morning I would review half of the app. The following day I would do the other half. So, the night before test day I reviewed the whole app, of all the questions that were in the app, I only missed 2. On test day, I reviewed only those two. So, taking the exam was very easy, I thought it would be harder, scored 35/35 and was the first one to finish. I wasn’t racing, I just knew the answers. Going to get the “Extra” app.
Great app
Great to get on at in between moments to bust out a practice test with a quickness. As you take the practice tests more and more your fails will turn into passes as the pendulum swings to all passes with your gpa rising the more you take. I downloaded the app on the 17th of January and now it’s the 31st. I’ve taken the test 32 times and now I get an average of 30 answers correct each test. This is the best way to brute force the actual test when it comes time. I will be taking the tech and general on the same day. I don’t learn by reading books. I learn by doing. So once I pass the tests. Then my learning will begin.
This is the best app
I bought this app and two of the other most popular one for the general license. I wanted to compare the three and thought that by having additional apps it might help me do better on the test. After several days of use, I absolutely quit using the other two apps, and always defaulted back to this one. Easy to use and great features so much so that I just now purchased the amateur Extra app and it is just as good as well. Buy this!
