How we rate food products–4 detailed food scores:
- Food Nutrition Score: scans foods’ macro and micronutrients, as well as their ingredients.
- Food Processing Score: shows you if a food is ultra-processed or not, based on natural and artificial ingredients and manufacturing methods.
- Food Safety Score: shows you if a food contains toxic additives and if ingredients were likely exposed to pesticides, antibiotics or hormones.
- Food Climate Footprint Score: shows you a food’s estimated carbon footprint and water footprint relative to other products.
