Gongcha California 4+

Been waiting for this app to work for this new locations for weeks!

I have no issue with Gongcha, their drinks are consistently good. My issue is with the third party app that built their online ordering platform. I had put in an order for several drinks, just to have the store call me to let me know they were out of the gingerbread bottles, and they were refunding my entire order. When the refund was processed, I noticed the tax I had paid was NOT refunded. When I called the store back, they told me it was out of their control and I had to take it up with the app designer. Of course, there was no way to get a hold of anyone at Puebla, so I was out the tax I’d paid. That’s illegal to keep the tax when refunding a purchase in CA, but I have no way to track them down so I’m writing here to warn anyone that may make a purchase through the Gongcha app and then need a refund. BUYER BEWARE.

Download the application through my friends invite link, accepted all the prompts, including location was allowed. Ordered two drinks in front of Santa Clara Gong cha, later application says they are ready to pick up. When go in to pick up, they are not there. Orders were in “another” city. Notice I said city! The application never asked me to select the city or give any hints that my order is in another city. Extremely disappointed. No cancel option and phone calls to that store was futile attempts as no one picked it.
