Ratings and Reviews
Great app
I love the app as it allows me to see whether my unit is full or not. It also has charging profiles that I can set from anywhere, once the Wi-Fi and cellular features are properly set up and able to connect phone w the unit, regardless of whether I’m home or at work it works seamless. Only thing I wish could be added is a way to see how full expansion tanks are in real time, percentage wise, and a way to completely turn unit off so that if I leave it charging I can have extra confidence that it won’t overcharge, or a way to turn on using my phone so I can get it to charge or not charge as I would desire. Although it has a built in charge controller I wish I could have this extra peace of mind and added control since I have a solar panel that’s connected all the time to the unit. Overall very great app to have.
Horrible
Ugh Goal Zero. Where to begin? The app does have a fresh new coat of paint and is visually pleasing. The interface places elements in the expected locations, which makes it easy to use. But beauty is more than skin deep and in this case function is more than a shiny new look to an app.
Goal zero still suffers from the connectivity issue that has been plague them for years. The app will connect but then moments later loses connection and you have to close and reopen the app to have the connection reengage.
For the legacy 3000 users with the Yeti Link for your expansion tanks, I hate to break it to you but once again zero goals releases another app without the ability to turn off auto update to fix the old software update that broke their own equipment. It is amazing that they utterly spit in the eye of legacy users, and absolutely refuse to put in a software toggle switch that will stop the device from going into the every two hour auto update loop. They really have abandoned and turn their backs on those suffering with the link module update issue. I guess to them a brand new coat of paint is good enough.

Latest update app never opens
I rely on this app daily for my off-grid lifestyle. Just updated today, and the app shows “GoalZero” screen for some seconds, then kicks me back to iPhone Home Screen. Tried quitting and restarting app multiple times, same result :( Wish so much I could revert to prior working app version that I use daily!! *Edited* Deleting and reinstalling the app fixed this, though importantly I had to sign in to the app again first, since otherwise I couldn’t connect to my Yeti even when putting it in pairing mode, since my Yeti 1500X still retained its WiFi settings from the prior version of this app. I appreciate the new app changes now it doesn’t crash immediately on opening :)

Hi one bug, Thanks very much for your review as well as providing information that uninstalling and reinstalling the app helped resolve your problem. We have been hearing from a few customers that they are experiencing this issue, but it's not widespread, so it's been tricky to track down. Your anecdote is helpful for us to understand and communicate a temporary solution to customers with the same experience. We're glad to hear that your experience otherwise with the app is a positive one. We're listening to all feedback and love to hear your thoughts. Thank you, - Alex
