Ratings and Reviews
Ok game
This game is OK but could be so much better. I don’t see any way to turn off the loud music so that I can play anywhere I want to. Also why does the opponent get more matches from the draw pile than I do?
Pretty good
I downloaded this game just to play go fish, and I would like to say it’s very good. If you see another review about something being fixed, it is. I would like to suggest a couple things though. I don’t really like it when the character says “do you have a ____” over and over. And I don’t think he says ace at all, but I’m not 100% sure though. It might’ve just been my games that he didn’t say ace. And this is in a 13 year olds perspective.
Developer Response ,
Thanks for your feedback. Yes there is an ace in the game. When we played it back in the day, the way to ask for a card was “Do you have ... ?” over and over.
Random computer? I think not
There’s no way this computer is “random” I got to the Zeta opponent in career and he has beaten me 8 straight times and tied me 3 times, all before I was finally able to beat him. Also, there are cards I know the computer has that I ask for and somehow on the next turn he asks me for what I asked for without drawing. Or it “randomly” asks for the card that I had just drawn. This game should have different variation of go-fish, like if you pick up a card you already paired earlier, then you add it to the pair you already made (how I played growing up).
Developer Response ,
I have said this multuple times - there is absolutely no reason for me to purposely rig the game to make the game unfair to play and hence get negative reviews. The programming logic is EXACTLY the same for all characters. There’s nothing I can do about your unfortunate spell of bad luck. The app is basically picking a random number.
The rules used in this game are the traditional, basic rules we used back in my childhood in the 1980s.
Thanks for your feedback.
