Description

Quick, where is north from where you are right now?

You don't know?
Well, you might not need it very much on a daily basis in English. But Interestingly some languages don't have words for "left" and "right", they use absolute directions. So you have e.g. a west and an east hand, or a north and a south hand, depending on where you are and where you're looking. For speakers of such languages it's crucial to know in which direction they are looking.

The goal of this app is to improve your sense of direction and distance. It lets you look through the earth and see locations around the earth. You can also customise the list of places and add your own locations.
In order to improve, you can play a simple guesser game. Each game last 3-7 rounds. You will be asked where a location from your list is, relative to your current position. You will be scored for each guess and you can challenge your friends via GameCenter.

What’s New

Version 1.1

- Add Antipode of current location (opposite side of the earth, may be used to make an earth sandwich)
- Add location grouping (accessablibe via context menu on the places overview)
- Add 7 new default places!
