Keep a Genisys branch in your back pocket! The Genisys mobile app allows you to manage your accounts anywhere and everywhere! Check balances, transfer money, pay bills, deposit checks, apply for loans, manage account alerts, search for free ATMs and more – all from your phone, tablet or watch.

Registration can be done right from your device. A first-time login will receive an activation code by email, phone or text message. Please note, users of previous versions of the Genisys mobile app must register as new users, credentials do not transfer.

So many things unavailable now.

I can no longer see when my credit card due date is. I got to the minimum payment amount screen but I’m not sure I could get back there without searching around again. On the old app I was able to see my accounts and my husband’s checking and loan account. Now I can’t have his account info on my app. Which means we will get late payments on the loan because my husband does not do banking and I have to make a point to get in his phone to log in and make the payment for him. This whole app is a real PITA. If this doesn’t improve we will be closing our accounts after our loans are paid off. I only bank online and mainly on my phone. This app is not convenient at all.

Too complicated

I am a former IT Software Engineer and this recent “update” has several drawbacks. I have access to 2 accounts. Previously all I needed to do was select which account login ID I wanted to use and face recognition opened that account. That was fast & nice. Now I have to type the login id and password every time I want to login to an account - yes I have set the switch for using face ID but it keeps shutting off. Logging out takes too many steps. Previously a swipe right from the accounts screen brought up the button to sign off. Now finding the sign off is too difficult to get to. I realize changes probably needed to be made due to constant hacking attempts. However, this change doesn’t seem to have been thought out very well and is not as user friendly as the previous version. Also, the font is too small for older users.

Thank you for your feedback. For security purposes, the app will only allow one set of credentials to be saved. If the app is access from a different set of credentials, the login settings, including biometric authentication, will reset. You are able to link multiple accounts to a single set of credentials using the Link Internal Account option. For additional questions, please contact our experts at (248)322-9800 Ext.1265.

Genisys’s Credit Union

I love this credit union. It is very easy to stop in or call to ask any questions. They are all very professional and very approachable to help you in any way. If you don’t understand something they take the time to explain it to you. I won’t go anywhere else. Plus they have an app that you can download to your phone or computer. You can set up payment very easily. I love it. I have the ability to pay my bills at 3:00 am. If I choose to. Genisys does NOT CHARGE YOU FEE’s for holding your money. Like banks do.
