Description
Gaziantep Kolej Vakfı (GKV)·Özel·Okulları 1963 yılında, sanayici ve işadamı merhum Cemil ALEVLİ öncülüğünde bir gurup hayırsever eğitim gönüllüsü tarafından Atatürk ilke ve devrimleri doğrultusunda eğitim vermek üzere kurulmuştur. Kar amacı gütmeyen, karşılıksız hizmet kuruluşu olan ve Gaziantep halkına mal edilen Gaziantep Kolej Vakfı kamu yararına çalışan, öğrenci ücretleri ve bağışlarla yaşayan bir sivil toplum örgütüdür. Kuruluş aşamasında Gaziantep Koleji Açma ve Yaşatma Derneği’nin desteğiyle Gaziantep Koleji adı altında faaliyet gösteren okul; ilkokul, ortaokul ve lise bölümünde toplam 129 öğrenci ile bir Antep evinde hizmet vermiştir. Gaziantep Koleji Açma ve Yaşatma Derneği, Bakanlar Kurulu’nun 6.6.1973 tarih ve 6657 sayılı kararıyla vakıf statüsü kazanmış ve Gaziantep Kolej Vakfı adını almıştır.
