Fun Food Finds
I love using Franki to post videos of places that I eat at! It’s great that they actually reward you for posting content unlike a lot of other food review or social media apps out there. I did have to take off 1 star just because the search function could use some more work and I think that a lot of restaurants are still not listed on the app, but the app is still quite new, so I can’t really complain too much, and I’m sure the devs are working hard to get more restaurant spots listed so that they cover all the foodie options out there in the world. The app is definitely stretching my creative muscles by making me post more unique videos.

Best new app for foodies!
If you’re not on Franki yet, download it immediately! This is basically Instagram for restaurant/bar recommendations with videos from locals so you can get real reviews and a true feel for a place before you go. The app has a bunch of cool features to make things even easier such as filters for the type of food or vibe you’re feeling, map view so you can browse in specific locations (with distance from where you are included), and even an option to put out a recommendation request for exactly what you’re looking for and get answers from other users. If you’re in to creating content, there’s also “gigs” you can submit video entries to for a place you’ve tried and get money back!

Frankly, this app is good, but has lots of potential to be great!
I love the idea of this app, incorporating a dynamic form of media to discover food! I love the community and the ability to discover new places and recommend places that I enjoy. There are many small areas that can be improved in UI, and ways to interact with other users and notifications can be improved, as well as posting restaurants that are not listed on the app. However, the app team that I have worked with have always been very professional, prompt and very helpful!
