Formula － weight loss diet app 12+

Every phase of my conditioning program has improved. I have a grandson who is an exercise pro and he highly recommended this program. Began early November at 250 with the goal of losing 50 pounds by my birthday, March 19 and so far, I am on course. I topped in this morning at 220. What I love, I can eat any time and any amount and this program is regulating my appetite. I am never hungry and my cravings for, "forbidden sweets & ice cream," are dormant. Formula's snack selections are tremendous. The program has complimented my :45 minute a day exercise program consisting of a fast-paced 1-mile walk, 85 half-body pushups, 25 knee squats, 25 sky-reaches plus leg stretches. That's every day, 7-days a week with no off-days. Bottom line, very pleased.

My doctor recommended I start using the Mediterranean diet without giving me much guidance. I purchased a cook book and read articles but could never really get into it. This app has made all the difference. The fact that it contains recipes and meal plans, allows you to scan bar codes, and allows you to create and enter your own foods, allows for much flexibility. It also connects to your Health apps (as you allow), so it tracks weight and exercise. It also figures in your exercise for your caloric intake for the day.
I would give it a 5 star rating, but it needs a bit more work to be a smooth app. In particular, as you add more foods you have eaten, the list comes quite long, and you may have to hunt for a bit to reuse some foods.
But really…I don’t think I could do Mediterranean on my own without this app. I love it!! Highly recommend!

I had wanted to try this app to help me stay on track with Carnivore. I opted to try it for 12 weeks. I chose the 12 week option and then was offered a discounted rate for a year instead. Although it was enticing, I declined. I then was offered a 20% discount on top of the discount for the year so I clicked on the year. My card was instantly charged then for the regular non-discounted price. I reached out to customer service and they basically said I did not click on the discount in time. I had screenshots showing the discounts just in case and sent them to Customer Service. I was told that it didn’t matter and that I would have to pay the full price. Bad practices, shady charges, and a negative customer service experience with proof. I just disputed the charge and got my full amount back. Be very careful what you see them actually charging you. Having proof didn’t even matter, but luckily, I was able to get my money back.
