Ratings and Reviews
1.99 for endless fun!
So let me break this game down for those of you willing to give it a try. To unlock the full game it costs $1.99 or you have to wait 4 hours on occasion for a new season. This game has no adds and is totally simulated as you build your position. At the start you pick your nationality, position, choose your name, and your top three stats. I would recommend stats the boost your position/ stats you can’t upgrade after a game. That will make more sense when you play. So basically this game isn’t 4 years of college then pro it’s more divided into levels as you build. You can be 35 and still play for college, also there is no pro draft. Your career stats constantly carry over. So there is the NFL, 1-A, 1-AA, Divison 2, and Divison 3. You will start at 5* and try to build your way up to 100*. You will also start in Divison 3 and work your way to the pros. The goal is to build your stats as you go with money you can make. So you can buy houses, business, and build your contract for money. Money is what you use to upgrade your stats.
All in all it’s fun I just wish there was more consistently to your game stats one game you will put out some insane stats then next game be an average player. You will spend hours on this once addicted enjoy.
I would also give this like a 4.7/5 but I rounded up.
Great Game with an Asterisk
So, far and away this game is great. The ability to slowly progress through the years is really fun, the lack of a wiki is kind of irritating but also nice to figure out what works and what doesn’t, and I can see myself playing this game for a long time. Seriously, I should probably delete this game because it’s a little too addicting.
The asterisk is expectations. Do NOT go into this game expecting to be a start NFL QB for ten years and retire a hall of famer. The game balance is too slow for that to be possible without ponying up some cash to either inject in-game cash or resetting your age to 18 at the end of your career. That said, treat it like a progression game where the goal would be to make it to the NFL before you retire or to tear it up in D2 forever.
For the devs, it would be nice to have different starting scenarios in the paid game - like an easy, medium, hard type of thing. I get you want money, but I spent money on the game and would like to enjoy the NFL portion without constantly dumping money on this every month (which I won’t).
MONEY GRAB! Must Pay to win.
I have no problem with spending the 1.99 to unlock the game. But the fact that the only way to make it to the nfl in this game is to pay .99cents to reset your age is ridiculous. If you play as the game is designed you’ll be 34-35 and just barely making it in Division 1. Here is the catch, the game allows you to spend .99 cents to reset your age to 18 and keep your abilities. Which doing that would be the ONLY way you can make it to the NFL before you retire. Anyone in the NFL has clearly paid to reset their age multiple times.
Game could be fun if it wasn’t just a straight money grab. Would not recommend and unless you’re willing to pay, don’t waste your time. Your abilities do nothing to help your team win. I’m a big stats guy and it would be cool to see your stats team by team throughout your career. In order to see how your player has gotten better and how that may effect your stats over time. Would be cool to maybe have some records to strive to break too. There is none of that in this game, all your stats are compiled for your entire career, making the stats essentially useless. I think this is done internationally because like I stated, your abilities are essentially faked. They are just numbers and do nothing to increase your performance. I know people who have paid to reset their age and have 95+ QBs and they have still never made the playoffs.
