Close to perfection!

Firstly, I want to thank the devs and designers for this app! It’s so easy to navigate, and the designs make it so fun to set up your own schedules and to-do lists. Definitely a lot more user friendly than notion, in my opinion at least. However, there is one thing I hope will be adjusted in the future, and that’s the time frame for the scheduling tab!

The scheduling tag works at a week-by-week basis, so you can only add events for that week. This is completely understandable since the app is mainly targeted towards students (such as myself), who are looking to plan out their weekly classes/meet-ups. However, since I have a job, I was looking to map out/add work events for the entire month of august, which was restricted by the week-to-week planning system.

Perhaps I’m having trouble navigating the app, but this was the main thing I noticed, and I though that there might also be some other students who prefer to plan their entire month out too- not just for a work, but also for study sessions, finals, midterms, club events, etc.

Of course, I don’t think this detracts from my enjoyment/impression of the app, rather it’s a small wish on my end.

Again, thank you to the devs for the great app!

Super cute and helpful!

I've been using this app for about a month now, and it's been really great for schoolwork! The app layout is really cute and easy to use, and I love the additional features like class folders and schedules. I think there are lots of things that could be implemented still, like task priorities, subtasks, notes, web version, but the app is still in development and making a lot of progress. The developer is also super sweet and clearly puts a lot of time and dedication into the app! I look forward to all the improvements to come and enjoying Folderly so so much so far! <3

minor bug on macbook!

hello! i want to preface this review with the fact that i do absolutely adore this app, and couldn’t be more grateful for the overall interface it offers 🙂‍↕️ i personally struggle with consistency in using planners/lists, but the organization style and overall design of this app keeps me motivated to use it, which in turn is leaving a positive impact on my life, keeping me more organized and calm 🫶🏻!

however, when using the app on my macbook, it often crashes when trying to add a photo to the cover of courses, and i have not yet been able to get the feature to work! on my phone though, this is able to work!

also, a few other suggestions for the app (echoing the other reviews i have read here)
~ it would be great if users could organize their courses in a custom order, not just by abc default!
~ for the “no class, free time” widget/design, it would be great if users could customize the photo that shows up then! or be able to add any other personal touches
~ lastly, down the line it would be great if there was an option to create an account, that way the schedules, to-do lists, and information can sync across phones, computers, and tablets! for myself personally i don’t have the same icloud account on my computer as my phone, so the feature to sign in would allow for my information to show up the same!

thank you for your time ♡
