Focus Video - Video Converter 4+

I was trying to convert AVI into MP4 because this paticular AVI Final Cut Pro X could not open. So I went to the APP Store and saw this app, read the reviews and decided to try it. It converted my AVI videos into MP4 fast and efficiently. It placed them into my new folder that I created with no problem. I was able to convert several files and they play perfectly. I went ahead and paid for the lifetime upgrade. It just works! Thank you!

Before I explain the issue, I need to say two things: the video convertor is amazing, 95% smaller size videos without any obvious decrease in video or audo, and that's the original reason I installed this app. However, because the subtitle feature exists, I use that too. Unfortunely, there remains a major bug with it, even after several updates. (This is the second thing: don't include a feature that has huge bugs.) I like to use this app to caption my 2 hour long meeting recordings. But at the start there's music and lots of silence. Even after someone has been talking for 10 minutes, the captioning will either say [Music] or [Blank Audio]. I select English each; I haven't selected auto detect yet, maybe it actually works better. Anyways, this means for the last two months since I discovered this app, my subtitles have been trash for the first 10-20 minutes when I share the files. I'll continue using the convertor feature, but I need to find a much better, less buggy captioner. Please address this issue. The captions are usually very good, including all kinds of punctuation intelligently. Just fix the blank audio and music bug.

I don't trust the cloud so I keep files on my computer which fills up fast. I save a TON of space by simply using this program. I paid for the upgrade too, worth it to me. You can't tell video was compressed (no pixelation etc). I do not have a 4k screen nor TV so I haven't tested how it looks there. Also, i have compared it to other programs nor am I going to, I'm happy with this!
