Learn about Peoria like never before with this all new experience!
This application allows the user to experience the mural “Find Yourself,” with Augmented Reality (AR). “Find Yourself,” by Jeremy Berkly is presented by the Metro Centre and Big Picture Peoria, and located at the University Street entrance to the Metro Centre. The Application supplements the experience of viewing the mural, and educates the view about the variety of iconography that make up the work as a whole.
The Application uses the user's phone camera to supplement the experience of viewing the “Find Yourself” mural with AR. This AR experience educates the viewer about how various icons depicted within the mural represent the historic landmarks and organizations of Peoria, IL. Users can read about these icons within the app, and find additional sources with further information.
