Ratings and Reviews
One of the best, if not THE best File Managers
I have downloaded just about every file manager available for my iPad and iPhone and this is the only one I find myself consistently using. Not only is the UI easy on the eyes, it's also not filled up with too much crap you don't need. This app does everything I could ask of it. Between the cloud support, the ability to uncompress just about every compression type, sorting by almost all attributes, ability to read files including PDF in app with TOC, bookmarking, deep text searching in the PDF with highlighting. You can see photos as well as import photos/gifs/videos from photo roll (more on this in a second) and export photos to camera roll, create voice memos, creation of different types of docs, watch videos and it supports 40+ different types of docs.
Ok, the photos. I've been searching for a way to clean up my camera roll. I've tried app after app supposedly designed for this. Then I tried File Hub. I imported album after album and not only did it find duplicates, it was fast as hell. I can now transfer those photos to my PC or cloud with confidence and free up storage on my iPad and iPhone. This is seriously the best!!
Best file manager I have ever tried !!
One of the best files manager on the store , you can even unzip files if you need that , the only down side for me is that there isn't a built in browser so it can be easier to download files , but over all you can still open the file from safari to this app like PDfs or word or zip ... etc . Very nice app , totally worth the money
Great app, but issue with Win10 SMB.
I’ve updated Windows 10 Pro to latest, and the app is also updated to latest. When I connect to SMB on my Win 10 machine, it worked the first time, but subsequent times, it gave me “invalid arguments” error. I tried clearing cache in this app, and it didn’t help. Not sure if it’s Win 10 issue or not, but I was able to connect to the SMB on the PC.
Aside from the SMB issue, I really love this app. The video player controls are also very phone factor friendly; it lets you control most things you need with one finger gestures. Kudos to the developers!
Update: I am logged into my Live account on my Windows 10. That somehow caused SMB to be more secure. Searching online showed that if I set “AllowInsecureGuestAuth” registry key, I can make it less secure again, so older clients can still connect. It still means FileHub doesn’t properly support the more secured version of the protocol. But at least there is a workaround now. Thanks.
Developer Response ,
Sorry about it, we will review it asap, thanks.
