I just wish you could use digital coupons a mobile checkout!

No longer a good app

The app is extremely slow. With the old app, an item scanned instantaneously now it takes about 20 seconds. I constantly received a message trouble scanning item. I would have to try 2 or 3 times before the item registered.

The other big problem with the app is that sale or promotion prices in the produce department are not reflected in the app. For example, there was a promotion for avocados, five for $4.88. When you scanned the avocado, it’s scanned at two dollars for one. So by scanning five avocados, my price would’ve been $10 and not the $4.88. This had become an issue with the before the update. I would’ve thought that the update would fixed this problem.

I am disappointed in that what used to be a relatively good app is now terrible. For me the point of this app was to be able to run into the supermarket, get the things I needed and get out without having to wait half an hour or more in a line.

First, we've released a major scanner improvement, please update your app and you'll find scanner performance to be much faster than the original.

Regarding the avocado promotion, promotions that are advertised as $X for Y deal may not kick in until you have scanned Y items. If you scan the amount of items for an advertised deal, and the deal doesn't appear in the app, please let a staff member know - they can fix it for your purchase and fix the discrepancy for others.
