Frustrating But Be Patient

Update: Be patient with this app. I was going to just delete it, but I didn’t. The following morning, it was working like it was supposed to. I don’t know how long it actually took to start working, but overnight seemed to do it.
For the life of me I cannot figure out how to add the widget to either my Home Screen or my Lock Screen. The app doesn’t show up on the list of apps when I try to edit these screens. This app also does not show up in my list of apps to grant access to my location. This makes the app useless to me as I cannot see my actual temperatures - even within the app itself. It just shows 57 F 14° C - which is not the temperature of Michigan in January. I’m just glad this was free so I can delete it and find something that works.

Developer Response ,

Thank you for writing in! We've had so many people download the app in the last few months that we blew straight through the API limits of Apple's weather service. The problem should finally be fixed with a new server system! Please give version 1.7 another try, it should launch on August 26. If you're still facing any issues I'm committed to get this solved for you, please send me an email at weather at spreen.co Thank you for giving the app a try!

Useful

I really like the widget’s bold text, color scheme, and different color options!

Shows the temp (in Celsius & Fahrenheit) of your current location OR the last place you were with your location services enabled

At first it seemed like the widget would only work when my phone’s location services was on but luckily I was mistaken cause mine is usually off and it still works

iPad iOS18 issue fixed

Thank you so much for fixing the issue with the °F &°C from not showing on the widget (with iPads using iOS18). I'm from the U.S., now living the Philippines and really appreciate being able to see the conversion. Thank you!! 👍🏼 FYI: Even after your fix, I had to delete my widget and recreate it before it would work correctly.
