I really enjoy Factorium! It often surprises me with events or people I didn’t know about. The range of topics and time periods keeps it interesting. The app is simple and easy to use. The app is great, smooth and simple. Unfortunately I’ve been seeing lately a lot of birthdays were used as a historical fact. Mark twain and versace are the recent and I ponder, What is historical about their birth? Nothing. What they did in their life is historical!
Something historical that occurred today could have replaced mark twian or versace being born. And their success could have been put on the days they started their business or wrote his first big book. Unless the birth is the historical fact like the first quadruplets born.
There is so much history to be used that a simple birth of someone who became well known, famous or popular through an action or dedication years and years later shouldn’t be used.

The ads 100% ruin the experience. Most apps have ads off to the side that are non intrusive, these ads take up your whole screen, after being forced to watch the ad and trying to exit back to what I was initially reading, I got the spinning wheel of death. Do yourselves a favor and don’t reward the developers with a download.
