We found a bug where the app wouldn't connect the sensor to a Wi-Fi that has symbols or spaces in the password. Our great team of engineers fixed this so this build will allow you to connect the sensor to any Wi-Fi, even if there are symbols and spaces!
Ratings and Reviews
Works like a charm!
This is a really neat device. The only issue is that 1) you have to scan the big paper QR code with the device name for it to work, not the QR code on the device
2) the supplied screws are just too long. I replaced it with screws from my spare parts bucket.
Haven’t had a chance to test notifications yet but I’m sure that’s not going to be a problem.
Addressing the 1-star review here: read my n.1 point above, that fixes it.
Barcode scan to setup did not work
The only code to scan on my EZ salt device was on the front of the device. When I scanned it it said no EZsalt “sesnor” (?) detected. Purchased from Amazon. Doesn’t work can’t rate it…
