Ex:FIELDS a new digital project space for augmented reality (AR) and place-based art.
Welcome to Ex:FIELDS a new digital project space for augmented reality (AR) and place-based art. Volume One exists as an AR walking tour through San Francisco featuring artists Helen Shewolfe Tseng, Reniel Del Rosario, Sherwin Rio, and Robin Birdd.
Each artist calls on their unique background and medium to explore and activate the city in exciting ways. The Ex:FIELDS Volume One artists uses novel mediums from ceramics to naturalism in order to reimagine histories, create everyday monuments, and scatter red herrings around the San Francisco landscape. We hope Ex:FIELDS can be a space to explore and expand the field of public art and invite participants to explore the vibrancy of San Francisco.
