Eversource Energy 4+

Generally a good app, I’ve linked several properties/ accounts, I can check the bill and pay easily. While I have given each payment account a nickname, I can only see the nicknames when editing each payment option. Otherwise it’s never shown to you. Not very useful. Want to pay a bill? You better have memorized the last 4 digits of your account numbers, there is no way to see what bank or what nickname you gave. If you have just one payment method you won’t care and you are all set.

The good: There’s finally an app! You can view and pay bills and report outages. As someone who exclusively uses mobile devices for banking & bill patching, this is huge!

The bad: Does not have the useable and customizable usage data you can access on the website. The bills are viewable only by blurry PDFs (unlike with website, they never resolve to be clear). These blurry PDFs are the only place usage data is available and it’s only the type seen on paper bills.

The app won’t let me sign in. Keeps saying that they can’t find the credentials in their records. But I go on the actual website and it lets me log in just fine. This just goes to prove this company is not very good. Not only their app don’t work but terrible service. Takes them forever to fix anything. They can’t keep anything simple, always making things more complicated than it needs to be. Terrible time management. Doesn’t let me do anything on the website either. And won’t even explain to me why I can’t do anything. Just says call but gives no context for what. They are just overall a terrible customer service.
