We updated the look and feel of Digital Banking to provide a better user experience including the following enhancements:


Easier navigation: Log out button displays on the left menu as well as on the right menu (person icon).


Card on/off: This feature can be used to temporarily pause credit and/or debit card transactions. A common use for this is when a card is misplaced, but is not lost or stolen.


Push notifications: In addition to text and email, account alerts and security alerts can be received as a push notification.


Transaction images: Use the paper clip icon under each transaction to upload a receipt image.


Internal transfer template: Save time by creating a template for internal transfers performed frequently, but not on a recurring schedule. Once created, it will be available under saved templates to select for future use.

Excellent Service

I opened an account about 6 months before we applied for a loan to purchase our new home. Aside from the fact that interest rates were amongst the very lowest available at the time, everyone involved made the process easy even though I had no idea what I was doing. Since then, EDFCU has helped me eliminate my credit card debt and steamline my finances. The app is super user friendly. EDFCU can be trusted with your banking needs, unlike some other financial institutions. Highly recommended!!!!

Complicated and annoying

My husband and I have separate and joint accounts through this credit union and when the app changed, it made us jump through hoops to reconnect our accounts. Now, if one of us needs to transfer money to our joint account or to either of our individual accounts, we can only do a max of $500 and have to do a “secret phrase” and type in the phone number to send any money. If we try to send more money the following day, it will say we have exceeded the amount of money that can be sent in a day. Once the money is sent, it takes at LEAST 3 days for it to show the money deducted from the account it was transferred from. This is infuriating and makes it hard to keep track of how much money is ACTUALLY in the account. Which makes it difficult to get our bills taken care of smoothly. Also half the time, the facial recognition doesn’t work and won’t allow us into the app. The new app is a failure and is just making our lives more difficult than it needs to be.

Logging in from app

I must say I wanted to like the app and at times I do but the other times not so much. I’m tired of trying to log into the app to get a “bad request” message 80% of the time. What do that even mean? At first I thought this was a pay week error but I have checks deposited into my account almost daily and this keep happening. This need to be looked into and fixed. I went to my local branch office and they couldn’t help me.
