The Eating Enlightenment Journal is made for you to develop your awareness of the food on your plate.
The exercise is as simple as following this one guideline: before each meal, journal about whatever thoughts, feelings and sensations are coming up for you in that moment.
Once you have an understanding of what’s going on inside of yourself, it becomes easier to understand how and why we often choose certain foods at the wrong times.

Excellent Journaling App
I highly recommend “The Eating Enlightenment” journaling app. This easy-to-use tool will help you to tune into your thoughts, feelings, and eating behaviors. If you’re struggling with binge or emotional eating, this app will help you visualize your behavioral, thought, and emotional patterns around food and meals. Five stars for sure! I love the simple, yet highly effective, structure of this journal!
Quick, simple, empowering
Even though the science behind CBT and journalling is very convincing i have always failed at keeping a food journal before, for various reasons of organization or simply being unsure what to write. This design is SO simple and well structured for me to quickly reflect on how im feeling/thinking that Im actually doing it!
Now I im really starting to see the patterns and understand the deeper reasons for my destructive/addictive eating habits.
The website also has a wealth of resources for those who are just discovering this compassionate way of approaching their confusing difficulties with food.
