App file size increases!!
The UI isn't very intuitive and it takes a while to figure out how to properly move photos from your iPhone to the external drive. Once that obstacle is overcome it is a great tool for saving photos to free up limited space on my iPhone. However, BEWARE that for some reason this app starts with a footprint of only 25MB when installed, but quickly bloats to 1-2GB after using it a few times which negates the purpose of "freeing up" space on my iPhone. I have to continue to delete and reinstall this app to keep my available storage space useable.
App loaded garbage!
Initially the app / device Duo-Link3 wouldn’t recognise my iPhone8, then after 3 months or so it started working. Now, I connected it after 3-4 months to back up some pics/ videos and all of a sudden, it loaded 45+ Chinese or some other eastern language files that I can’t even delete. My default language has always been English.
My The earlier version of Software had less problems. It didn’t load any unusual “garbage” and worked much better once I learnt how to use it. Very disappointed with my US$62 investment.
Good but needs work
It works fantastically in all things except one. The one thing that it can’t do is change the volume using the on screen gestures while watching a movie stored in the app. Every time a friend or I have tried, it freezes the phone and the only way to fix it that I’ve found is to force the phone to turn off and then back on again (home and power button at the same time)
