🎵 Ba, ba, ba, ba baaa🎵 I’m Lov’n it🔚
It took me a few hours to the day to understand the app. It has been working very well for me and I had no issues of downloading the app and blue-toothing to my phone. I guess I am one of the lucky ones. I love that it shows the AHI, the hours of sleep time, and the mask fit. I also like the bar chart as well because it gives a perspective on my days of sleep. I also look at it online where I can see the whole picture better. Online DteamMapper gives a 14,30,60,90 days in which when you click on any of these numbers you can see the bar chart of Udage, AHI, and Mask Fit. It’s pretty cool. My Phillips DreamStation also comes with an SD card in which I can load into my computer all the data.
One suggestion / recommendation I would like to see added to the DreamMapper is a tab that reads “months” and have it at the top in the menu bar. And then when you click on it a drop down window appears with all 12 months listed. This way you can select your month and click on the 30 day and see your data for that month and compare it to other months; oppose to using the arrows on each side to view past or future months .
Vet nice app🔚👍🏻.
I have learned to love it
When I first got the app, I struggled to Bluetooth connect to my CPAP machine. It must have been a learning curve, because now it uploads automatically every morning. As soon as I turn my machine off, I literally just tap the DreamMapper app to open it, and syncing is automatic.
It is a little quirky if you try to "do the most" in connecting your Bluetooth. This is the only Bluetooth device that once connected will display the CPAP as both a connected and a connectable device (listed twice, which creates confusion, and difficulty if you try to "fix" this. Just connect once, and open the app daily and it will auto sync.
The app gives you: Sleep hours, apneas, hypopneas, and is searchable by week with bar graphs, comparing your nights. There are helpful videos, goals, and product suggestions, which is nice to know about certain things, like the new portable CPAP for hiking, and things like that.
Love it or hate it, I've learned to love this app and accept my sleep apnea. I've learned how to use it, and it is a super-easy component to my morning, which I believe it was programmed to auto-grab data every morning off the cpap. Just make sure the cpap is on (i.e. You just turned off the air) then open DreamMapper
Oh. My. God. Bad app instructions!!
Just got my new replacement machine. Set it up & thought ‘I’ll try connecting to the app’. It’s important to note here that I’ve had a Phillips cpap machine for years & have tried multiple time to connect my older machine to the app. It would work for awhile, then it would lose Bluetooth connection & it was a huge PITA to get it to connect again. When I got the new replacement machine I was sure it would work better because it’s a newer machine. Do, I reinstalled the app, logged into my account & tried connecting to the machine via Bluetooth. A half hour later the only thing I had accomplished was an escalation of my frustration & blood pressure! The app would act like it was trying to connect, a window would pop up asking me which accessory I wanted to connect to but the stupid thing was the window was bland & didn’t list any devices for me to pick from. Gah!!! I read & reread the instructions, nothing helped. Then I thought, ‘what if I change the serial number in the app to my new machine’s’? Once I inputted the new serial number suddenly, like I had found the right key, it connected to the cpap machine & i started making progress in getting the app & machine connected & setup.
So, for those having trouble connecting, learn from my experience and enter your machine’s sn FIRST! Then try connecting via Bluetooth!
