Better than I expected

i saw this game and immediately thought it was gonna be my kind of game cuz i LOVE word puzzles. but i was afraid it was going to be to easy and i was gonna get bored like other “brain games” but i have been very entertained. they’re not SO hard that a spend hours on one puzzle but they make u think. and they’re easy enough that i can do a couple just to relax even if I’m tired. plus i like how u have 3 different kinds of word puzzles to choose from. one small thing tho. it would be better if we got more than one hint point thing per level. it takes me forever to be able to get enough to buy a clue. and the ad thing to get more hints never works even when i have full bars and good wifi. but all in all great game. 👍 to the developers

Rare phrases, expensive hints

My biggest complaint is you can’t solve part of the puzzle. You can know what some of the words are, but even if they’re in the right place, it’s not counted when you ask for a hint. So you can ask for either one or four random letters, only to have it reveal letters you already had in the right place. There is “reveal a specific letter”, but it’s double asking for one random, and half of getting 4, so…

I don’t know if the app was just developed in a different country, but — even as an educated person — I’ve never heard of half of the sayings/phrases. Like “All cats are gray at night” or “Too clever by half”. Some are common adages, just using different words (eg “One brick short of a full load”), but there are too many different possibilities. Some, after I solve it, I can see what they were going for, but when it’s a completely foreign expression, the depiction has to be spot on to have a chance. I often end of solving it and still thinking, “What?? Did they make that up?”

The basic game is fun, but it needs some fine tuning

Creative thinking, seamless play, relaxing puzzler

Love this game! I’ve been doing these kinds of visual play-on-word puzzles for decades, and yet I still find these puzzles to be fresh, original, creative, and fun. I’ve never seen most of these before (that’s saying something), but they’re right on target. It’s also nice to pick the game up for a minute and be able to put it down without losing any progress. And I love its relaxed, untimed play (a pleasant escape on a stressful day). The app runs seamlessly and glitch-free on both my iPad mini 4 and my iPhone 8. Thanks for a terrific puzzler that forces me to think outside the box!
