Great architecture, but AI……?

While I love this game as I do with the others…. It seems like this game took a heavy influence on AI generation as opposed to their traditional “ground up” designing of the buildings. Like I understand you guys have alot of work to do, but this game could have came out a lot later as opposed to creating AI generated buildings.

Some buildings kinda have a consistent design, but it’s the little details that look a bit wacky, especially for the last 2 office skyscrapers, the white bridge like construction surrounding the tower kinda just…. Diverts into other paths as opposed to swirling around the building. Overall great game and I would love to see actual designed buildings as opposed to strictly AI, this game could look better with real art.

Just not that interesting…feels generic

Ok, so I have noted that you seem to be sensitive about reviews. Well, do you want feedback or not? I have played all versions of this game. I have thoroughly enjoyed DC 1&2, and only slightly less so the Empire City games. I also want to note that DC2 had some deficiencies upon release, mostly in regard to subpar graphics, however, the improvements to that game over time have made it excellent, in fact probably the best of these games.

The bad news is that you have lots of work to do on this game if you want people to stick with it. Starting with Aquatic City, the buildings have become overly generic. I know that we have the option to name them, but it was far more interesting and immersive to have structures that were specifically named and obviously designed to look like what they were supposed to be.

For now I am continuing to play, but that is only on the hope that you listen to the plentiful feedback in this forum and then take corrective action.

Developer Response ,

We welcome constructive feedback but we would ask that you contact us directly. We feel you prefer the realistic games, in the current time scale you can relate to, and that is totally fine. If us naming buildings would make the game more immersive for you then surely, given the fact that you are free to name the buildings whatever you want, you can make the game even more immersive by using your own unique building names?

Excited to See What’s to Come!

As an avid player of 1 and 2, I really adore the improved graphics and extensive new features of road design. I hope this particular game gets the same kind of update treatment that the first two get where new buildings will be added on a regular basis. I was also wondering if we’ll ever get to see a night version for this like we have for the other two as that added to the overall immersive experience. I’ll remain hopeful to see how this super fun game expands overtime. Keep up the great work!
