Description

Decrypto is part of our intelligent game series. It is a game about decoding ciphers. In each level you need to decrypt a word. You have your first hint unlocked in every level. First hint is associated with previous level answer. When you complete a level you get 1 help point and experience points. In order to increase your rank, you need to get experience points. Now go hack and have fun !

I first played this game in 2018 and almost got to the end. Now I’m back in 2024, looking to see how far I could get again. What would make this game relly fun is a game mode where you can be presented with previous puzzles. I love deciphering the words, but wish each puzzle wasn’t one-and-done.

I’m actually working on a complete game rewrite for the 10th anniversary, which will be next year. Level selection is one of the things that will be added, but I also want to update and improve many other aspects as well.

Challenging

This was a great little decoding game. I found it pretty hard and I had to use hints a lot because I don’t know much about cyphers, but I researched them and learned some stuff I didn’t know. A nice challenge! Not that long - maybe about 17 levels?

Awesome I'm really glad to hear that your learned something new! And regarding the game being pretty hard, we are planning to completely remake the game to make it more interactive and more beginner friendly.

Nice Surprise

I wasn't going in expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised to find the game was challenging and required you to actually think and problem solve. Definitely worth giving it a go if you like puzzles!
