Description
Covid resources in Washington DC: up-to-date health information and support for food, finances, and housing support.
A Covid infection raises questions for individuals and families about the outcome of the illness and the risk to others. It can also have an impact on other areas of life: finances, housing, food access. This app is updated daily and provides resources within Washington DC. Sections include health information about Covid by age groups, wellness support, and support by specific communities (those who are undocumented, LGTBQI, unhoused, survivors of domestic violence). The information can be obtained in other languages through one easy click. This app is developed by George Washington University medical students with technical support from Children’s National Hospital.
Ratings and Reviews
Not as useful as the DoH website
All important updates and information is tucked away in various categories making it hard to find the info you’re seeking. Instead of a main dashboard that provides useful info at a quick glance, this app is just a list of categories that would work better as a drop down menu. When you eventually navigate the app and find the category you’re looking for, it’s usually just a link to the DC DoH. Ultimately, It’s easier to visit the DC DoH website.
