This is the official mobile app of the National Health Insurance Company - Daman. As a Daman member, you can now conveniently and securely access our electronic services using your smart phone.



The Daman App comes with a host of features that simplify your health insurance:


- The option to select your preferred language (English/Arabic)

- Book an appointment with a doctor in your network across the UAE



1. Search for providers and doctors based on availability, network coverage, proximity, and language preferences.


2. Book an appointment directly from the app once you select your preferred medical provider.

3. Reschedule or cancel any appointment directly from the app.

Excellent improvements

We had Daman 3 years ago, which was clunky and difficult. My family was easily able to find their cards to get access now. Bravo!

Upload image from files doesn’t work

To use “Submit Reimbursement Claims,” the updated app now hangs if you need to retrieve a photo from your camera roll. (It works fine if you take a shot with its camera feature, however.) They call it “Review Uploaded Photos.”

There’s supposedly a “Documents Gallery”—it’s one of the 3 options for submitting documents when you send in a claim—but there’s no way to access it from the “Additional Documents” menu.

There’s no way to amend a claim if they reject it due to missing documentation. The rejection email’s instruction to call the help center is wrong; the help center will just tell you to reply to the rejection email!

For Pre-Approvals, there’s no way to submit a request for one. What if you’re out of the country?

Really thought the app was easy to used. There were no unnecessary requests or steps included. Just a few small things I noticed:

1. I could not upload my bill as a pdf. But not sure if the problem was from my side.

2. I could copy and past my IBAN bank info. But not my name.

Thanks for making claims submission so much easier with this app!!!
