Really handy, but…

So, I’ve been using this to place holds for years and it’s super helpful to request stuff on the go. But there are two key problems I’d like to address:

1) Most of the time, when you click on a book to place a hold, or try switching to My Shelves, the app will be stuck loading indefinitely. Going back to the search results and clicking on the book, or even a different one, again, does nothing. This requires me to wait a few hours or restart my phone.

2) For some reason, the app sometimes randomly asks me to re-enter my PIN or library card number, even when I’m clearly already signed in. This is frustrating and sometimes it can make you repeat this every time you place a hold, or you restart.

Overall, it’s very handy but has a few major glitches.

The your “shelf” setting won’t open

I love this app, but everytime I try to view “ my shelves” the whole app shuts down, I have the latest update and when I click on “ give feedback” it says “ this device is not set up for e-mail”. Not sure how that’s possible. I went to my setting on my iPhone just to make sure everything is turned on for this app. Would love for this to be resolved.

Barcode

I can’t sign into my account. The app says to put in my barcode, which I did several times, but then it ask about a pin. The librarian told me it was the last four digits of my phone number. The app still wouldn’t let me in. The “Forgot Pin” does not work because it asks for the barcode then only replies with something like “the barcode isn’t recognized.” So basically, this app is no good when it comes to looking at your account.
