Honestly when I saw an ad on this game I thought “there’s no way it’s that fun” but I was so wrong. Tbh it’s actually addicting and makes you think a lot. I love simple games like these and I can see the effort put into this game.

Aside from how fun it is, the ads are surprisingly limited. Unlike a lot of games out there that look similar to this that put ads in every single screen, this game gives you the option to see an ad when you chose to get rewarded, or sometimes random but not so often. Like they want you to enjoy the game as much as possible but they also need to get paid, which is something a lot of games lack these days.

I don’t write reviews very often but I just took a liking to this game, and I hope someone out there does to :D

The game starts out pretty fun. Interesting mechanics that pretty much simplify the kinds of decisions you’d see in a Paradox game and that’s how you get hooked. You buy land, increase intelligence, and make money in your “country” — and then the ads start.

Ads upon ads really. It has to be one at least every 50 seconds. That is at least until you get to the second phase of the game. You have to battle other “people” on the game to protect your land, or take theirs. Who wins these battles is determined by the relative difference between the amount of “people” of each country. There were times when I outweighed the other player by 500k-1 mil, had a >=60% chance of victory (rated by the game), and still would unequivocally lose. The only way to win is by — you guessed it — watch ads. They are usually 1 minute long at least, and then sometimes glitches prevent you from even watching them all the way through so you just waste a bunch of time.

These ads are clearly a ploy to get you to buy the no ads feature on the game. Now, if this were like 2 bucks like it usually is on these kinds of games you FIND through a popup ad, it would be fine. But the cost is THIRTY (30) dollars — just to get rid of the ads! The game is fun, but $30 is just ridiculous!

Fix this and the game would get a 5 star review. Clearly, many of the others who rate this game are bots, because any human would quit this game after about 15 minutes all things considered.

The game itself is interesting and puts you in the shoes of a world leader having to balance the wants of the people and demands from neighbors however… the blinking nuke bomb indicator is distracting. No way I’m opting to watch even more ads but have to hit occasionally to increase by 10 seconds. The ads are not timed. While I would not mind ads between each level, the random activation is intrusive when you don’t know if the nuke power diminishes with time. While interesting, it’s not $30 interesting which signals to player that you won’t be playing the game long. That’s too much for an in game boost and to stop ads. I’m sure I have watched $50 worth with no thank you reduction or game bonus. Not a fan of data tracking either so saying bye and deleting but hope the developers take criticism into consideration as it could be a fun game in the future.
