Description
"Compost" is a calculator utility designed to help household or farm composters achieve an optimal mix. A well functioning compost decomposes at a good rate and does not smell bad. To achieve the proper environment, experts recommend a Carbon:Nitrogen ratio somewhere around 25 to 30 parts carbon to 1 part nitrogen.
Users input the pounds or kg of compostable items they have on hand, choosing from categories of carbon-rich and nitrogen-rich components. "Compost" then calculates the amounts of other items needed to balance the mixture.

Worse than useless
Far too few compost ingredients nor does it tell you what C/N ratio the calculator is aiming for. Don't waste the time or money.
Handy, but not worth the price
This is a calculator. This little compost calculator does exactly what it claims, that is, shows as its result the recommended ratio of green to brown for one's compost pile/bin/etc. It's great for someone trying to balance out compost levels, but 1.99$? I know that isn't much, but for a simple calculator, it's on the pricey side. To make it more worth the money, it might be neat to have a section of the app devoted to what can be composted, general composting instructions, etc.
