Comcast Business SmartOffice 4+

Can’t get this app to work or switch between cameras. It’s stuck on one camera and can’t get it to move to another. Time to look at another provider for Internet and cameras!

The main purpose of this app is to provide video recording from the past events. It doesn’t work. E.g. if you experienced a theft on your property and would like to see what has happened, it’s impossible to do with either this app or a desktop browser. The program doesn’t respond to the timestamp selection. Technical support is a joke. They closed tickets because I didn’t answer their Private ID phone call. Then they advise to use Internet Explorer (2.26% share of internet users) or Edge (I never heard of such a browser before but apparently it enjoys 2.18% share of the internet users), then the line dropped and no one calls you back. Stay clear from this app.

It’s hard to tell which is worse the app or the web portal, if anyone is considering getting Comcast’s cameras I’d strongly suggest going with Adt or buying your own system. There business WiFi is great though....the cameras are good quality but the servers just don’t hold up it works maybe 10% if the time at best. You can view the cameras but if you need to go to a certain time and see when something occurred to solve and issue good luck it never works.
