Description

The Colorado Rural Water Association (CRWA) is a non-profit corporation incorporated November 24, 1980 under the rules and laws of the State of Colorado. We provide technical assistance and training to Colorado’s public and private water and wastewater systems with an outreach philosophy of reaching all corners of the state. Of the 2,095 public water and wastewater systems in Colorado, 98% are small communities serving less than 10,000 in population. CRWA is an affiliate of the National Rural Water Association headquartered in Duncan, Oklahoma. Every state in the UDS is now involved and is active under NRWA. Our programs are funded through NRWA, which receives grant monies from the USDA and EPA. Additional funding comes from our 900+ active memberships. Colorado Rural Water Association’s Pueblo West facility includes a 30-seat training room for onsite/hands-on training to provide high professional standards and to better serve our Water/Wastewater industry membership.
