Description
CollX (pronounced "collects") answers the question every collector has: "What's it worth?" The app lets you scan virtually any sports, trading card game, or non-sport card! That includes baseball, basketball, football, wrestling, hockey, soccer, MMA, boxing, golf, tennis— as well as TCG cards like Pokemon, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Flesh & Blood, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, and even Non-Sport categories like Garbage Pail Kids, Marvel, and Star Wars. CollX will instantly identify the card and get the average market value. Once you've scanned your cards, add them to your collection and track your portfolio. You can also buy and sell via the CollX marketplace, where you can purchase cards with a credit card, get shipping and tracking, and earn cash selling your cards to other collectors. Turn the hobby into your side hustle!
COLLX SPORTS AND TCG SCANNER
CollX's visual search technology instantly recognizes and matches against a database of 20+ million cards. After identifying the best match, you'll get the current average market price for the card. Our deep-learning models were created by a team with 10+ years experience developing image recognition technology. In addition to being able to match most RAW cards, CollX will also identify graded cards, as well as parallel and reprint versions of cards.
BUY AND SELL
The CollX marketplace is the fastest growing place to buy and sell cards. Use Deals to bundle multiple cards and make an offer to the Seller. As a Seller, you can utilize several shipping options, including CollX Envelope, where you'll get tracked shipping for as little as $0.75! Other Seller Tools include the ability to set a bulk discount, accept offers, and vacation mode. Cards bought through the CollX marketplace are covered by CollX Protect, where payments are only released when the cards arrive at the Buyer, giving peace of mind to both parties in a deal.
COLLX AI
The first AI built specifically for the trading card hobby, CollX AI provides insights on cards, coaching tips on how to do everything from negotiate to ship, and even can assist in helping sell your cards faster.

As your cards rise or fall in value, CollX helps you track both individual card values and your overall portfolio value. No more wondering what your Pokémon card value is!
BUILD YOUR CARD COLLECTION
Create and keep track of your card values. View your collection as a grid, list, or as sets. You can also filter and sort your cards by a variety of criteria — value, date added, year, team, etc. Export as spreadsheet and generate set checklists with CollX Pro.

So awesome
I have been using this app since march 2024 and I love it , it started out a little buggy but it’s gotten a lot better. I don’t know about making money, but on my profits I have definitely tripled my collection, if I wanted I could make money but I’m still growing and once I’m done ill just let em sell and get those profits they have a new chat room feature that is very popular now and if you have any questions you can feel safe asking questions if you are new. I have have made 2 carding friends on this app and they helped out so much (if you want to know, one of them is Lynn Koger, he’s an admin and loves the help out he is also someone you can trust to sell you what you buy) but any way all you have to do to sell is set up your seller tools, have the supplies , and list some cards and its also great for buying ,the buyers are protected by tracked shipping from most sellers and the scaa lot is also pretty accurate. Buy this app its free and this took a while to write so that’s proof that I like this app alot
Developer Response ,
Give it a little bit of time it will update, are you running the latest app update? Try running update or deleting app and reinstalling. What type of cards are you scanning in? Do they have any previous sales history when you scroll to the bottom?
Promising but lots of bugs
I don’t do any buying or selling, just use the app to catalog my player and vintage collections so when I go to card shows I know what I already own. It works great for that but I have a few issues. One is that the app constantly incorrectly identifies cards. I get that modern cards have a crazy amount of variations, but I can scan a base card and it thinks it’s a rare variant, which then makes cataloging take much longer when I have to manually change almost every card I scan. I especially find it frustrating when scanning vintage baseball cards. For example I scanned a 1959 Topps Willie Mays, front and back of card, and the app thought it was a reprint from 1994. This happens very regularly and I’m not sure why.
The next issue I came across was that I wanted to retake some of my photos with better lighting. I hit edit on a card and chose retake photos and updated them. Did this on a bunch of cards and then came to find all the old photos were back. Kept trying to replace again and taking yet again new photos, and same thing happened. Only thing to solve the issue was to delete the card from my collection and add it fresh again, but because of the above issue with the app not choosing the right card, I have to manually correct it. This becomes extremely frustrating cause the app is great in concept but several issues keep it from being a go to and I will need to rethink subscribing to the pro tier until these issues can be ironed out.
Follow up
I recently submitted a review about how bad the newest update is. I love the IDEA of the app, and when it works right, it’s spectacular. The issue is, it almost never works right. It never recognizes newer inserts, which would be fine if the “search for card” function worked but it doesn’t. When searching, you either get infinite loading, or if you happen to find your card, when you select it, it sends you back to the card screen and still says that the card couldn’t be found. Also, I get that there’s tons of card variations, but there are some variations in which, every other card from the set seems to be in the database aside from the one you are searching. For example, 2021 Panini Playbook Zoning Commission. I have the Aaron Jones card, when searching for it, no matter what key words I use or even the ZC-AJO card “#” it shows every card in the set aside from this one. How can you have a full checklist but then just not have some in the system?! This has happened on multiple occasions, this is just the most recent example. Like I said, I LOVE the Idea of the app. The execution on it has just been mediocre. Prices are also all over the place. It should really pull from eBay recent sell or something so we can get accurate pricing.
