Clock+ :Digital Clock & Alarm 4+

I need dark when I sleep. Like dark dark. The thing is, a lot of hotels don’t seem to know that higher wavelengths of light have an easy time passing through ones eyelids, particularly with white and blue lights. Only red seems to be exempt. This clock is a must have for me when I travel, if I wake up, I want to see the time, but I don’t want a searchlight pointing at my face. This app works in all regards.

This would easily be 5 stars if Incoild set my own music or at least had a more dynamic variety of alarm sounds. There’s a dozen total and they’re so generic it’s painful. There’s nothing I’d want to make to ale up too, which is a pity because the design and simplicity of this clock app is top notch. I love the minimalist layout and how easy it is to set or turn off the alarm. A snooze would be helpful, but I could make do without if it just had some good alarm options. But as it stands, I’ll likely use an alarm app I don’t like as well because it lets me set my own music as the arm sound. I’ll check back in though because I love everything else about thi alarm clock app and would change this to 5 stars if I was going ringer any use out of it.

I like the default red clock and the size of the readout.

It’s dim enough not to light up the room and large enough I don’t have to put on my glasses to see it.

I wake up during the night and like to be able to check the display for the time, rather than having to open the phone to a bright display. I’ll probably see a notification or something and start playing around and lose sleep.

Still using the alarm clock on my iPhone.

I haven’t tried the paid version yet but I’ll probably splurge for the .99¢ eventually.
