Russia as well as China has been calling for an end to the joint military exercises for years. So Trump is also doing Putin's bidding again. And it is very interesting that China actually announced an end to the joint military exercises before Trump even annonced it.

 

What's to hold back? There is nothing in this "agreement" that means anything. Trump gave the baby away with the bathwater. There is no guarantee that Un will honor his words. There is nothing that binds him to do anything.

 

What is so historic about this agreement?

 

Exactly how does Trump know this? Did he interview a significant number of North Korean citizens? Other than Kim and his entourage, did Trump meet a single North Korean?

Wasn't that just stupid hilarious. And then in his classic hypocritical fashion the next thing he did was turn right around and bitch about what was being posted about Trump's disaster of a summit.

Trump does not only NOT KNOW THAT. It represents his mental and clinical mental illness because he does not know and can't understand that in North Korea nearly all citizens are under surveillance. And if they see someone who they believe is not being "sufficiently enthusiastic" expressing their "love" for Kim Jong Un they and three generations of their family are thrown in prison to be tortured and worked to death.

But I do have to admit that Kim Jong Un's real approval rating is going up because he sat down with Trump face to face and he rolled over like a dog and just gave Kim everything he wanted without costing North Korea anything.

You are the one living in a make believe world. And the proof of that is if you weren't you could answer the question. Which of course you can''t because the only things historic about this is Trump elevating the most ruthless dictator in the world and North Korea to "honorable" and "trustworthy" and on equeal status with the US.

But other than that out of all the other agreements with North Korea what Trump signed is the weakest. Especially after Trump promised Kim to end the joint military exercises and sanctions for nothing more than a vague promise that North Korea will move towards denucleaization.

 

So, you're suggesting that (1) Un allowed him to speak freely and confidentially with North Korean citizens, and (2) that Trump has the time and DESIRE to listen to them tell their stories...
