Centriq was created by a couple of homeowners who finally got fed up with wasting time and money around their home. Our lives are filled with more and more stuff. The stuff is increasingly complex. And when the stuff doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do, we’re expected to spend hours chasing down the answer from a million different places.
They asked themselves, “Why can’t everything I need be in one place?”
So they built Centriq. Now, all you have to do is take a picture of a product label and from that photo, Centriq identifies the product and fetches the user manual, troubleshooting guides, parts & consumables, How-To videos and anything else that will help you get the most out of the things you own.

More than Handy-A necessity!
It’s so easy to stay organized! If you own a home or manage properties, the Centriq app is ‘peace of mind in your pocket’. The app stores all the information about your home appliances including model numbers, serial numbers and even finds owner’s manuals. One can create notes and store information about installation date, cost, warranty and a host of other information. It’s ideal as a record for insurance purposes, warranty claims, and repair history. You just take a picture of the faceplate and the products and upload it. Centriq does the rest. I even loaded information about my new car to the app. Also, a tip of the hat to Centriq customer service for being responsive and able to answer any questions.
Best app for homeowners or anyone that owns anything
Centriq is by far the most valuable app I use. I am the type of person that tends to lose things. Before Centriq this meant that if something broke or I needed a product manual for some other reason I would spend hours (some times multiple days) just trying to find the product manual to fix something (washer/dryer, tv, power tool, etc) or figure out how to make it work how I wanted. As more and more companies started moving to digital product manuals this became somewhat easier, however, I would still have to spend time remembering where I saved the manual, then looking up videos or finding replacement parts. And then I found Centriq. Now all of that, and so much more, is all saved right in Centriq and the best part is it only takes a few seconds to add each product to Centriq which then automagically adds product manuals, helpful videos, links to replacement parts and much more to each product I save. It also has sections for me to keep the contact information for all of the service providers I use, notes, photos (amazing for documenting what I’ve done each time), etc. My elderly parents just built a new house and the first thing I did is set them up on Centriq. My dad was giddy with how easy it was and how much simpler it made caring for their new home. THANK YOU to the developers for making such an amazing tool.

Hello!!
We have found that on most phones the app works with iOS 13. Please try deleting and reinstalling. If that doesn’t help, you can also access the web app here: https://app.mycentriq.com/. Log in using your existing account email and password from any phone, tablet, or computer.
Please also keep an eye out for an announcement of when we have ensured that it is working for all phones.
Updated review after developer response
They responded to my earlier two star review and gave me a link to update my review - but it seems to be creating a new review rather than letting me update the prior one(?). I don’t know if it’s supposed to work that way or not.
But I added a star back after their response because I like the product. But honestly the response was hokey. I stand by my original posting. For those of us who signed up originally and spent all that time setting up all our our equipment into the app (yes our time is money too) - it still feels like we got bamboozled. If we knew the app wasn’t going to be free later - we never would have gone done that road to begin with. I certainly would not have. Now it’s pay or have a crippled app….which will eventually be useless as products break and get replaced. I don’t know why the folks who run this company miss that simple point… make your money on those who sign up after the business model changed. They knew what they were getting into. Thanks

Hello. We regret that our business shift was a disappointment to you. However, as you mentioned in your post, we gave ample notice, and with respect to our long time users, we allowed you to keep your inventory free of charge. As a business, our only option was to either charge a subscription to all users or discontinue access to Centriq entirely for everyone. The difference between Blink and Centriq is that we provide a service of curating information for every item added in our system. Blink has no overhead to do whatever it is that they do for you. The Centriq processing actively finds information and keep it up to date. We have yet to discover a comparable service that is offered at no cost. We hope you find a free or low cost solution that works for you.
